Installation

During normal operation, first turn on the cold water to the desired flow rate, then turn on the hot water and adjust to the desired temperature.

Function Test

* During testing, ensure that water flow does not splash or spray onto the human body. 

* Allow a large flow of warm water to pass through the safety anti-scald valve, then shut off the cold water outlet and observe the water flow shut-off condition: 

Once hot water exceeding the set point, flows through, the safety anti-scald valve will immediately reduce the water flow to a trickle. The continuous small flow of water helps restore normal water flow when the water temperature drops below the set point. 

* It is recommended to perform a routine test on the safety anti-scald valve monthly. 

* If the anti scald valve is found damaged during testing, it is recommended to replace it in a timely manner.

Restore The Water Flow

* When the safety anti-scald valve blocks the flow of high-temperature water, turn off the hot water supply. Once water stops flowing, turn on the cold water supply. The safety anti-scald valve will quickly restore normal water flow. 

* First, turn on the cold water and adjust it to the desired flow rate, then mix in the hot water until the desired temperature is reached.

Functions and Applications

A stored water heating system needs to maintain a water temperature of at least 60°C to effectively prevent bacterial growth. However, human skin will suffer severe scalding if exposed to water at this temperature for just a few seconds.
